Introduction

This ring combines some of the great classics of Dolomite motorcycle touring with less obvious but very striking stages. From the climb towards Misurina to the green meadows of the Monte Croce Comelico Pass, to the return journey through the villages of the Centro Cadore area, the route always maintains an excellent balance between riding, scenery, and the pleasure of the journey.

The route

San Vito di Cadore → Cortina → Tre Croci Pass

The journey begins towards Cortina and, before entering the centre, you divert towards the Tre Croci Pass, nestled between forests, meadows and panoramas dominated by Faloria and Cristallo.

➤ Tre Croci Pass → Misurina

After descending towards the junction, turn towards Misurina, until you reach its lake, one of the most famous and photographed in the Dolomites.

➤ Misurina → Carbonin → Dobbiaco

Continue to Carbonin and then turn towards Dobbiaco. Shortly before the village, you will reach the lake of the same name, perfect for a short break in a very relaxing setting.

Dobbiaco → San Candido → Sesto → Monte Croce Pass

After going through the roundabout with the Three Peaks landmark, follow the signs for Sesto and Monte Croce Pass, along pleasant bends, green meadows and with mountains always in the background.

➤ Montecroce Comelico Pass → Padola → Sant’Antonio Pass → Auronzo

From the pass, you descend towards the junction for Padola and then continue towards Passo Sant'Antonio and Auronzo, on a route that is very pleasant to travel.

➤ Auronzo → Pieve di Cadore → San Vito

From the crossroads, take the direction for Pieve di Cadore and cross the villages of Centro Cadore until you return to San Vito.
